The Grammar of Ornament，originally published by Owen Jones in 1856 is
considered the bible of ornament. It contains over 2，300 beautiful
patterns from different cultures and epochs，including Oceana，Egypt，
Assyria，Greece，Pompeii，Rome，Arabia，the Moors，Persia，India，Hindoo，
China，the Renaissance，Italy，and the Celts. Many of its designs were
taken from ancient monuments that no longer exist.

Direct Imagination has compiled this fabulous book into a CD，containing
the entire text from the Grammar，2300 ornamental patterns in medium-rez
24-bit file，a color manual of the patterns and 160 patterns redrawn in
vector-based EPS file format.

The text and art are presented in an intuitive book like browser (PDF file
